A Very Rare/Old/Fine Korean Plum Scroll Painting-17th -18thC.:

Korea,Joseon dynasty, 17th to 18th century, signed San Hae Gaek(山海客-sealed in black in sqare).

Hanging scroll, ink onpaper; depicting a boldly brushed plum tree trunk issuing slender twigs ofblossoms,

surrounded by a poem of 28 Chinese characters and a painted

square seal to thelower left. It’s in fair condition withsome tears and wrinkles with age,

and measures 37”h. x 22 3/8” d. or (94 cm x57cm).

***San Hae Gaek(山海客): a black seal stamped on the middleleft

(theseal must belong to one of the examples of the artists,

ChangGang-Cho-Sok, or Sul-Gok-Yeo MongYong.below examples of artists.
