THISVICTORIAN ANTIQUE SILVER LOCKET IS A VERY PRETTY DESIGN, IT ISOF VERY LARGE PREPORTIONS, A REAL EYECATCHING ITEM OFANTIQUE JEWELLERY (See5 pence and US quarter set in inset picture for comparisons).
This large ovallocket has a charming floral spray engraved to the front, this raised pictorial is boardered with lattice work embossed patterning. The locket has a traditional articulating blown \'saddle style\' bail, this has an aperture of 6.8 mm.This bail is marked with a lion for sterling silver for .925 quality. The reverse of the locket is totally plain surfaced apart for the full hallmarks for Birmingham 1880 and maker\'s mark \'W&Co\'.
Anchor for Birmingham assay office, lion passsant for sterling silver and low case fancy italic \'f\' for 1880.
