A copper alloy hooked tag clothing fastener of the 16th and 17th century A.D. The dress hook has a rectangular attachment loop at one end which is embellished with a rose at each side. The main design is an openwork rope-work design of three lobes in a trefoil shape. There is a thick area at the top of the hook, which is complete.
