On offer is a huge and beautiful Chinese 19th century blue and white charger decorated in the center with three figures in greetings. This is known as wenren sancai (the three great scholars) decoration with figures being Su Shi, Huang Tingjian and the buddhist monk Fo Yin from the Song dynasty. It is measured at 37.5 cm in diameter and dated to the Daoguang period.The condition is almost perfect with a little rim chip as shown, some rim frittings, glaze defects from production nd two carved Chinese characters to the back.
