A small vellum library with 17 volumes(!) 16th. - 19th. Century! Wonderful collection!
Here now something very special:
Lot of 17 very old books bound in vellum or pigskin, some with manuscript bindings.: Bindings. - Lot of 17 bound in parchment and pigskin works of th 16.- 19th century, partly using older manuscripts, some blindstamped, etc.
Titles pages often in black and red, some with copper engravings etc..Decorative series of different, mostly complete works, but also a few incomplete or parts from series works.
Including extremely rare prints from Spain
like an old book from 1568 printed in Salamanca, another from Figueras in 1769, many Baroque volumes and other curiosities.
Lot included e.g.:
Roderigo Suarez. Allegationes et consilia quaedam Roderici Suarez Iurisconsulti celeberrimi. Salamanca, Terranova, 1568. - needs paper repair in the
margins, in flexible vellum with Incunable leave on inside cover. Rare early print from Salamanca, with a nice woodcut title vignette.
- Jean-Baptiste de Rocoles. Les Entretiens du Luxembourg sur sur sur l\'UTILITA de la Promenade, & sur un voyage fait depuis peu de Flandres. 1666.
- Guillaume Du Peyrat. L\'origine du Saint Siege of cardinaux et, particulirement of Francois. 1670.
- Johann Hübner. Kurzte Fragen Aus der Politischen Historia. 3. Teil. 1699.
- Johann Hübner. Supplementa zu seinen historischen, genealogische und geographische Fragen. Teile II-III. 1718-1719.
- Simonetta Battista. Quaresimale del padre D. Gio. Simonetta Battista; Canonico Regolae. Venice 1736.
- Fortunato da Brescia. collected volume with 3 prints.
- De qualitatibus corporum. Philosophia mentis. 2 parts. 1749-1756. - With copper engraving board, in blind embossed pigskin with gilt label.
- Giovanni Battista Campadelli. Discorsi sacri mor ali adattati alla CAPACITA d\'ogni genere di persone, sopra le Domeniche dell\'anno. 1754.
- Antonio Lobera y Abio. El Porque de todas las Ceremonias de la iglesia y sus Mysterio. Figueras, Ignacio PorteÌ € r, probably 1769.
- Carnet pour la anne 1789. 2 French staff workbooks with manuscript calendar etc...

MDLV, 1555, Folio cover damaged, waterstained and mold. Book needs repair.
