First a fine turned wooden treen cylinder shaker box and cover.
Great old turned piece and cover still tight on the top.
The wood appears to be maple or similar hard wood.
SLIGHT lighthouse shape to the cylinder, and the cap as has slight cowlick bump right in the center of the cover.
Inside are seven (7) miniature hand carved scrimshaw and painted bone dice.
LOW opening offer with no further hidden reserve. We reserve the right to end the sale early if shows no offerding.
Box: 2 1/4 in. tall (x) 1 1/4 in. wide cap (x) 7/8 in. wide base
Dice: Approx. 1/4 in. is in very good condition with no damage. Lid shows some light wear to the original finish from many years of handling. Also as described above, and as shown in the photos. Pictures are part of the item description for this sale.
