Up for sale is a 28\" Alt Beck and Gottschlack \"Sweet Nell\" type German bisque headed doll in Very Good condition. Head reads\" 1362 / Made in Germany / 4 1/2 . She has no cracks or breaks to the head. She has sleep eyes with most of their wax and lashes intact. Composition body is in very good condition with what appears to be all original finish. She comes with her original blond wig with silk bow plus her factory slip, a lace cap and white dress from circa 1920. No other clothing is included. She could easily become a bride or a first communicant with the right accessories.
Her flaws are minor but to be fair I will list what I see: a small bubble on the finish on one hand (see pic). The cardboard socket cup on one knee is detached (again see picture). There is some loss to wig, but she has mostly a full head of blond curls. the lace cap has a tear near the front. The dress and slip have some pin sized brown stains (difficult to see in pictures). The dress is a bit large but looks nice on her.Sold as-is. No returns.
