We verify all voltages/currents with our Tek TM5000 audio test bench that ties into the fixture. WE437s are tested at -3V verified grid and 100mv AC drive (not from the Hickok). Plate currents vary with the exact transconductance, but we center our operating point at the data sheet value of 25ma via constant current anode source in series with the 752A. This takes the sloppy 752A plate supply out of the test, yet uses the handy 752 infrastructure for testing/matching. This system was developed for validating our ENLITEN AUDIO(tm) audio products. We cannot guarantee your tester will match our calibrated test system as there are way too many variables in the testing equation. Testers vary WIDELY and can have significant levels of measurement tolerances.
