If you are collecting Black Eagles by Freidberg or just want an 1899 $1 Silver Certificate in a decent grade, this note is what you want. This is a Very Fine 35PPQ note. It is a 1899 $1 Silver Certificate, the black eagle. The Freidberg number is 229, which means it has the signatures of Vernon and McClung. And the date is below the serial number instead of the right edge of the note. This note is graded Very Fine 35PPQ by PCGS. You don\'t have to take my word for the grade of the note, you just have to trust PCGS.
