Here today for you consideration is an adorable early 1950\'s SLW Muffie doll made by Nancy Ann Storybook. Muffie is so cute with her long blonde wig pulled back into a ponytail with lots of original curls, big clear brown working open and close eyes with molded lashes as well as black painted upper lashes, brown eyebrows, faintly blushed cheeks, and tiny red painted heart shaped lips. Muffie has a very even skin tone with no stains, marks or odors. She has no joint issues, she can stand and pose on her own. Her sweet little dress and panties are untagged but they were made by Nancy Ann Storybook the 1st year the Muffie doll was produced,1953. The dress is not original to this particular Muffie but it looks darling on her too. The Muffie outfits in 1953 such as this one were not tagged. The dress has an attached slip and the original intact brass snap closure in the back. I don\'t see any problems with the dress except the white is not as white as it was when new due to age. The dress doesn\'t appear to have ever been washed but could use a light soak to help refresh the white. Muffie\'s panties are made of off white organdy with the upside down heart lace trim. She will come with white socks and red rubber side snap Maryjane shoes. This little Muffie is in excellent condition that would make a wonderful addition to a Muffie doll collection or to be displayed with her best friend Ginny. Thanks for taking a look and God Bless.
