This listing is for the above shown AGATHA CHRISTIE book \"APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH\" in DUST-JACKET. The book is a hardcover 1ST AMERICAN EDITION published in 1938 by DODD, MEAD & COMPANY of an excellent Hercule Poirot mystery. This is an ex-library copy, and it has many of the typical faults associated with same, such as (library stampings, written numerals, adhesive at front free endpaper, and the dust-jacket flaps are adhered to the inside of the covers), it also has a split at the inner hinge of the title page, a small piece of corner gone at page seven, minor staining at a couple of pages, page 25/26 is there but is detached, and I noticed one tiny edge tear. Overall however, the interior pages, starting with the title page thru the book to the rear endpaper, are fairly clean and quite decent. Needless to say the exterior of the book is in good shape having been protected by the dust-jacket all these years. The dust-jacket was re-inforced on the interior side prior to its attachment to the book. I took lots of photos so that you could judge the condition of the book and jacket for yourself.
