Offered for consideration is a lamp and urn set by Alvino Bagni and imported by raymor. The pieces feature a volcanic glaze in pale blue-violet with hints of charteuse and undertones of eggplant. The lamp is mounted on a solid walnut base.

The vessels are formed from wheel-thrown red clay.

The pottery is in excellent vintage condition on both pieces. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. The lamp has one tiny glaze flake (see detail photo)The urn is signed R.640 Raymor Italy (This is the style of signature used on many Bagni for Raymor pieces) The lamp is unsigned ( a not uncommon occurence) This design has been used on Howard Miller Meridian Clocks, assorted vase and many other pieces.

The harp, harp saddle and finial are new replacements.

The lamp has been newly rewired to current safety standards with a new premium solid brass socket and new cording with a polarized plug set. The socket can utilize a 3 way bulb for 3 levels of light.
