I will be adding many more fine antique figurines so please check back. This is one of a pair of antique expertly hand made, hand painted figurines I am selling separately. I was told by an expert that it is \"absolutely Derby\" and\"No doubt whatsoever: a knight leaning to perhaps kiss a woman who appears to be being coy. Their faces are finely handpainted. The woman is seated with a basket of applied porcelain flowers at her feet. The gentleman\'s hat is behind her. Note the brilliant gold trim at the bottom of her skirt. He also has gold trim to his clothing. Behind them is a tree or bush with many applied porcelain flowers. It is in very good condition for being over 200 years old; there is scattered chipping to the applied foliage & possibly flowers, please enlarge all photos for details. It measures 8.75\" high and 7\" wide. It has the red Derby crown mark on the bottom and a symbol that I believe is the year made mark; The Derby site only has those marks dating back to 1800 so this was made before that. They are extremely heavy for their size, so if you purchase both, I cannot ship them safely together. I have listed a photo above of the pair together, but they are each SOLD SEPARATELY.
