AMAZING 1818 GEORGIAN LONDON STERLING SILVER ARMORIAL ENTREE SUPPER DISH BOWL:

Listed this week is a great Collection of Georgian, Victorian and later Sterling Silver and Silver Plate plus a very large collection of Victorian, French and Austrian Art Glass, Cut Glass including ABP plus a nice selection of Lalique and other stem ware.

Up for sale with isthe most beautiful and fancy Georgian Regency Period Sterling Silver Entree or Supper Dish that I can ever remember selling. The Entree Dish features the most incredible wide cast border featuring incredibly finely detailed Floral designs in very high relief. I have never seen another example like this. The removable Handle also features beautiful Acanthus and Shell designs as well. The Lid of the Dish is \"Double Stamped\" which means it also has a lovely rope border inside and can be used as an extra serving dish as well. The Entree Dish features very ornate Cast floral designs to the lid which match the base as well as a finely Hand Etched Crown and Cockerel Armorial inside a fancy etched Cartouche on one side and a blank Cartouche on the other. The Entree Dish is fully Hallmarked for the fine Period Silversmith William Burwash, London England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter for 1818. The Entree Dish is in very fine condition with some minor signs of age and use but nothing bad at all as seen in our photos and the handle is very secure. The Entree is also of a large and impressive size measuring13-1/4 inches long by10 inches wide by5-3/4 inches talloverall or the actual serving portion measures10-1/2 inches long by6-3/4 inches wide by1-3/8 inches deep. The Entree is very thick Solid Sterling Silver throughout with a quality weight of1875 grams. I doubt you will see another Entree Dish like this again, especially selling without reserve !
