Hi, thank you for having a look at my items. This week we have listed over75FineEstate Found Treasuresales. Up for sale with is a gorgeous Antique Birks Hand Chased Silver Plate Tea and Coffee Service. The Service is of the most desirable Melon form and features finely Hand Chased or Repousse Flower and Scroll designs throughout. The Service also features amazing Shell and Scroll patterns around the top and the Tea and Coffee Pots have Squash Blossom finials as well as Figural Masks and Bird\'s Head designs to the Spouts. I have never seen another Birks Service with all the figural elements, I am sure being a Rare find indeed. The Service is fully marked Rideau Plate which was one of Birks finer lines so you know the quality is excellent. The Service is also in excellent all original condition with no dents, cracks, holes, repairs or wear to the base metal. The Service is much nicer than my photos show and I am sure the new owner will be most impressed. The Service is a great size for modern use with the Coffee Pot measuring 9-1/4\" tall by 11-1/4\" long and holding 6 cups, the Teapot measuring 6\" tall by 12-1/4\" long and holding 6 cups, the Cream or Milk Pitcher measures 5\" tall at the spout and the Sugar Bowl measures 7-3/4\" wide across the handles. I doubt you will find another Birks Rideau Silver Plate Tea and Coffee Service like this up for sale, especially with !
