You just never see this many great and rarely seen fresh estate pieces like this come up for sale all at once. Up for sale with is a truly incredible Victorian Period Austrian or Prussian Solid Silver Mustard, Jam or Honey Pot. The Pot is one of the finest and most elaborate examples I have ever sold with amazing fancy Pierced designs throughout and great bold handles to either side. I also particularly love the Pineapple figural finial on top. The Lid shows a nice inscription to the lid which is Dated 1883. The Pot is also Hallmarked as seen in the photos and shows the 13 Loth Mark denoting 812 Grade (81.2%) Pure Solid Silver. The Condiment Jar is in excellent condition throughout with no dents, cracks, breaks or repairs, the top finial is just slightly off straight though I am sure easy straightened by someone with stronger hands than I have. The Pot also amazingly is complete with it's original Spoon showing matching Hallmarks and the Clear Glass Liner which shows no chips, cracks or repairs. The Pot and Spoon have never been monogrammed which is a rare find as well. The Jar makes for a lovely display and is also quite practical for modern use measuring approx 4-1/4" wide across the handles or 2-3/4" wide across the top and standing 5-3/4" tall. The Pot and Spoon are also nice thick Solid Silver throughout with a quality combined weight of 102 grams, not counting the Glass Liner. 19th Century Austrian Silver is rare to find and this is a beauty, much more beautiful than my photos show, I am sure the new owner will be most impressed !
