Late 19th / early 20th century, bent beechwood swinging cradle, in the style of Gebruder Thonet and Jacob and Josef Kohn. Cradle is on four legs rising into two outswept supports. The swinging body constructed of incurved side supports issuing from a central rib.
The cradle is in good shape with some spots showingwear. General marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.There is a hairline crack approximately 4 inches long in one of the feet but it does not effect function. Original Canopy arm is missing. Repairs have been made to one of the swing supports. 56\'\' H x 53.25\'\' W x 27\'\' D.
