Just gorgeous, old Mexican Cantera opals in this necklace! (These opals are early 1900\'s no later.)

The necklace is just under 17\" end to end. The 3 opals measure approx. 20 x 16mm each (a very generous size), about 7/8\" x just under 3/4\" in the setting. (weight 18.7g)

Every color of the rainbow is present between the 3 stones. One has more warm colors of oranges, yellows, and greens. Another has a beautiful opal portionthat looks just like a firery Australian opal. The most amazing cantera in this necklace has gorgeous/vibrant blues and purples, with a splash of red. That Cantera is amazing and very rare, it just happens to be the center stone and it just makes this necklace!

The sterling rope chain is very solid, but there appears to be one very tiny soldered spot where it was repaired, which is barely noticeable, but I looked it over very closely and just wanted to mention that.

This necklace is in excellent vintage condition and guaranteed sterling (the clasp is marked STLG).
