A Rare 19thC Japanese Carved netsuke.

This has been superbly hand carved of a robed man about to behead a girl begging on her knees.

And was acquired in Japan during WWII along with another one that I have listed.

Unfortunately it has some damage/loss because of the finest of the carving. He has lost part of one leg, a chip to the sword handle & tip of the blade. The girl has lost her hands & has a small chip at the back of her robe.
