Live Serendipitously!

\"When you least expect it, something great will come along. Something better than you ever planned for.\"

After over 25 years of experience in the fine designer jewelry field, I decided to apply my philosophy on life to a business of my own. While its important to have a plan, life has often surprised me with a serendipitous event that I have found enriching and rewarding. I seek out special pieces for my eclectic vintage online jewelry, art & luxury goods gallery with utmost care, focusing on name brands such as Tiffany & Co., Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Angela Cummings, Frank Gehry, Robert Lee Morris, Stephen Dweck among others. I also look for vintage pieces designed by lesser known, yet talented artists I\'ve found to be quite interesting.

You\'ll never know what you\'ll find at Serendipity by Robin, but I promise it will be unexpected, valuable and beautifully gift wrapped.

About Angela Cummings

The inspiration for Cummings\' work is rooted in nature. She incorporates forms such as ginkgo leaves, spiderwebs, vines, shells, feathers, sea foam, dragonflies, and orchids into her jewelry. Cummings is known for her innovation, trompe d\'œil effects, intricate designs, attention to the surface of the metal, and her concern with the smallest of details. Her work has been praised by critics as well as loved by customers.Born in Klagenfurt, Austria, in 1944, Angela Cummings moved to the United States with her family at age three. She returned to Europe to study at the Art Academy in Perugia, Italy, and in 1967 earned degrees in goldsmithing and gemology from Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. Upon graduation at age 23, she moved to New York and immediately joined Tiffany & Company, where she remained until 1984. After creating her first full collection under her own name in 1975, she became one of a small group of well-known, innovative jewelry designers (along with Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger, and Elsa Peretti) associated with Tiffany.referenceFashion Encyclopedia Angela Cummings
