Selling an 82 piece sterlingsilver (830S) flatware from Norway. This beautiful set is part of my mother\'s estate and was purchased in the late 1950\'s (1958-1959); it hasbeen in my family for almost 60 years. The set was purchased directly fromNorway by my mother\'s aunt who visited there often. It is anoriginal Norwegian design by one of the most renowned silversmiths TheodorOlsen Eftf now known as Arven 1868 who are still in business in Bergen,Norway.The stainless steel knife blades (dinner and butter knives)are by the cutlery maker Atkinson Brothers of Sheffield, England. Theentire set consists of a service for 12 however for some reason there are 13butter knives and I do not know why!

The 82 piece set consists of thefollowing:

The chest is included and isvintage--my mother received it as a wedding gift in 1942 (75 yearsago). The inside has never been touched however the outside of the chestwas refurbished due to heavy scratching over the years.

Please remember that this VINTAGEset is USED (my mother used this for various dinner parties as manywomen did in the 1950\'s) and is almost 60 years old; it has NOT been used inthe last 20 plus years except for an occasional polishing.
