Excellent vintage ANRI \"Joe the fat boy\" character from Charles Dickens is handcarved and handpainted atop a brass bell. His name is painted on his back. He stands 4¾\" high. Remarkable condition: no wood has been splintered or chipped off, no cracks, scratches or gouges to the wooden figurine nor the brass bell. The interior of the bell reflects the patina of age, but no rust or discoloration. The exterior of the brass bell could be polished up, but no effort has been made to brighten the color or to shine or polish this up. It is in the vintage condition as it was found in an old garage. Bell rings clearly. Not loose or wobbly - integrity of this piece is as good as when new. Great whimsical collector\'s piece in really great condition.
