Up for sale is a beautiful, rare, vintage ANRI handcarved wooden sitting Madonna and Child carving. The statue is entitled, \"Our Lady Seat of Wisdom\". It is in very nice condition with exquisite details and wonderful subtle coloring.

The statue is approximately 7.5\" tall and 3.75\"  wide at the base. On the bottom of the statue there is are 2 ANRI stickers. The small oval foil sticker dates the carving between 1954-1967. Please see pictures for better details and full description.

PLEASE NOTE that after careful observation, there appears to be a hairline crack on the right arm of Infant Jesus. I never noticed it until I used a magnifying glass just before listing it. It does not appear to go all the way through the arm. I enlarged this section of the arm and included it in photo #11.
