Antique 15ct Gold Emerald + Split Seed-pearl Ring. For Sale
This is a very pretty antique 15ct gold emerald and split seed-pearl gemstone ring. The ring is claw-set with a central block shaped emerald gemstone of size 4.5mm x 2.75mm which is bordered by a cluster of 10 lustre glow split seed-pearls of size 2.0mm. There are a further 6 split seed-pearls {2 groups of 3} flanking the main cluster. There is decorative 'openwork' where the shank meets the head of the ring and it is grooved all the way around its outer circumference. There is a {.625} stamp mark on the inside circumference of the shank which equates to 15ct gold. Size 'L'{UK}, 6.0{US}. The ring is in very nice condition throughout, although there has been a repair on its under surface which cannot be seen when the ring is worn. Genuine gemstones. This is a lovely unique item of fine antique jewellery, probably Victorian. Buyer to pay p&p.
