Welcome - Up for your consideration is this rare, believed to be 1st edition copy of \"1788 - 1884 History of Greene County New York with Biographical Sketches of Its Prominent Men\" The large, hardcover book is a compilation of records from various government and private agencies and offers a broad historical look at Greene County, New York. It includes information about prominent families with several portrait style photos, significant buildings and a couple of maps, one in color with a copyright date of 1879 and an original date of March 28 1800. The book is brown hardcover boards with gilt page edges. The book is dated 1884 with no other dates or copyright indicating it is a 1st edition.

CONDITION - The book is in fair, antique, pre-owned condition! Quite a bit of age and use, bumps on cover which is completely loose and held by tape, no spine, broken gutters, some loose pages at front and back, some with tape, a few small tears, no marks noticed when leafing through pages.

SIZE - It measure approximately 12\" by 9\", 462 pages.
