An antique, fully restored Black Forest cuckoo clock, from 1907
This gorgeous unsual birddesignCuckoo Clock has beautiful handmade carvings, very detailed with real thick solid wood, in an amazing brown color beauty.
The clock follows the theme of theStork and the Serpent.
The face trim is adorned with water plantreliefs, vines and leafs on each side. Water plant leafs decorate the bottom and all sides.
The top crest follows the same motif with hand carvedwater plantreliefs, branches and flowers.The Storkhas open wings, looking down to the Serpent in a movement to eat it.
The dial has a diameter of6inches. The hands are made of bone.
The movement has been fully serviced. The clock will strike and cuckoo will come out ofthe perch, openingits beak, bow and flap its wingsat the hour. The sound of the gong is full and the cuckoo bird sounds well. The wooden bird has a long tail.
Very few wood cracks and chips that will come with age.Condition is VERY VERY GOOD.
The clock size is: 22\" L - 15\" W - 7\" D
The clock comes with back door, hand carved pendulum and 2 weights
