The Holy Water Font has a white alabaster Cross shaped \'plaque\' with an elaborate bronze enameled cloisonne / champleve Cross and Holy Water Font with Lid and white enamel interior and a brass backing.
There is a note on paper, applied to the back, telling the History of the font, as well as \"MEURICE / A PLACE DELA MADELAINE\" and on the inside of the hinged lid \"23 AVRIL 1891\".
