The Home of French CopperThis is a beautiful antique French copper pan with the most beautiful patination and hand fashioned handle and body.
This pan is large over a foot across.
This pan is antique and has been used and displayed in a French home for many generations.
The pan amazingly is still useable for making, for instance, Duck Confit made on a hearth or cooking many things over an open fire. The base is slightly rounded to enable very even cooking.
The tin lining has darkened with age and there are a few breaks in the tin, the copper shines through in some small places.
Don't want to cook with it? No problem - this item is extremely decorative and looks fabulous in all types of lighting.
The handle is hand made and fixed securely with four copper rivets - you can see the hammer marks and the suberb way it has been fashioned to the body.
This is a sigature pan and can take pride of place in any kitchen and can be used for cooking or as a decorative piece.
