Listed is an antique bisque head doll, marked Armand Marseille Germany, and was made circa 1900. This doll measures 35\" and has a large shoulder plate bisquehead marked A 14 M Germany, and a cloth stuffed jointed body with leather lower arms/fingers.The head has a crack on the lower part of the shoulder plate, otherwisenoother damage. (see pics)The coloring or tinton the face and neck and shoulder area is slightly uneven, however it has an all over acceptable look. The doll has blue glass sleep eyes with thick lashes that open/close easily and her original brown mohair wig which is full/thick. She does not have the typical compo or leather body and I have learned through research that some of these dolls had a cloth stuffed body. The body is in good original condition, fully jointedat theelbows and knees with some minor wear and a small sewn repair on one leg near the foot. The body is securely attached to the head. The upper arms are cloth stuffed and the lower arms are a soft leather with molded fingers. The leather arms may have been added at a later date. (check pics on the condition of the arms/fingers) She is wearing lovely antique white cotton dress with eyelet lace and back sash. The dress is 80-100 years old and is in good condition, especially for its age, showing just a few minor breaks in the fabric and the row of buttons on the back of the dress are missing. The doll and dressare clean and comes from a smoke free home. There are no unpleasant odors. Buyer pays ship/ins. No international shipping due to weight.
