Fantastic Tilting Victorian Silver plate water pitcher. Made in Aurora Illinois between 1869-1875 according to the Aurora Historical Society and they have the largest collections there! This has the expected signs of the Aesthetic period with Victorian designs. Note the owl under the spout and the Egyptian influence at the handle base. Included is the orig. matching goblet!Condition wise there is plate finish missing,dents but no cracks or repairs! Hinge works fine and still has the flap inside the spout. 21\" tall overall, round base is 10 1/2\" wide not including the goblet holder. Pitcher alone is 14 1/4\" tall.
