Featured is an antique mantle or shelf clock indicating on the metal face it was manufactured by the Antonia Clock Co. New York, United States of America. It appears to be enameled black cast iron with brass tone appointments, a wind up movement (no key included). The clock measures to be approx. 17\" X 10-1/2\" X 7-1/2\" and weighs about 20 lbs. The clock has brass tone feet and decorative columns in the front and a sporting dog head on both sides. Research of similar clocks show this was probably made around 1902.I have no way of testing the mechanism to determine if the clock actually works therefor I am offering it as repair only but all parts inside seem to be present including the adjustable pendulum (I will remove and pack it separately for shipment). There are minor scratches and signs of age and the piece needs cleaning and certainly service by a competent clock repairman. Please ask for more photos if needed or any questions I might help answer. The round tin cover over the access hole on the back just broke at the tab which pivots to open it. It is holding by a piece of tape but I am reluctant to fix it if the buyer is a sincere purest because the entire clock has never been reconditioned and is untouched in that respect.
