Up for sale is this amazing, very rare sterling silver and cut crystal dresser jar, made by very fine American silver company, Woodside. The pendant is in the very famous \"Butterfly Woman\" pattern. The pattern is featured in numerous Art Nouveau publications and is a quintessential, fabulous Art Nouveau design. The dresser jar cap features the beautiful woman with gorgeous, crisp wings and is accented by high relief pansies and the crystal base features a wonderful cut glass design including stars and more. The jar measures approx. 3 3/4 inches tall and is approx. 4 inches at its widest point.
The dresser jar is inoverallvery goodcondition for its age. There are some dings to the sterling including the women\'s nose and some small holes possibly from the casting that are only seen under close examination. The cut crystal base has small chips and fleabites throughout including a small chip on the rim. Please see photos for condition. Although it is there you much really look hard to notice the small condition issues and overall the sterling and crystal dresser jar is a wonderful piece. The side of the jar lid is marked W in a wreath for Woodside STERLING 2182 Pat\'d. This is a very fine piece of original, Art Nouveau sterling.
