I believe this isan antique pipe, by reknowned Austrian maker named Joseph Vegiato. Vienna. Used condition. After researching on the internet, I foundanother that listed this information and advised it was estimated to be circathe 2nd quarter of the 19th century. Also had similar silver rings, also with aloop as shown.

Pipe has awonderful variation of color – with a pair of carved horse heads on thefront. Some chips & wear. Also has another carving in the center,between top & bottom. Not quite sureto measure. See photo with tape – esti 4.25”across. Marked Vegiato, as shown. I seeno other markings or hallmarks – if there, either too faint or was worn away. Lovely, unique piece! See photos – being sold 100% as-is, as-found. I cannot begin to advise of condition, sincethis is the first pipe I’ve ever held.Need more photos or additional views?Just let me know.
