It is a handsome old table that could be even used in a small apartment because it does fools down .
The edge of the table top has a pie crust edge . I am not positive but I think the wood is oak or another very similar hard wood .
When the table is completely opened up the table top measures approx. 36 inches wide , 48 inches long and about 30 inches high .
When just one side of the top is up it measures approx. 36 inches long .
When the table top is closed down the with is approx. 17 inches .
The table is in tight strong condition .
One of the barley twist supports has been replaced with another antique piece . It is under the table top center so it does not stand out .
There are age scratches and nicks on the top areas , along with an old crack in the wood in the center that goes from one side to the other . That is what the dark mark near the center is .
The center seam in the top has rough area . See photo of table top .
