*Original antique doll coat*All hand sewn*Black silk velvet, red rayon satin*Cut-out puff sleeves*Glass buttonsPresented here is a fabulous little antique doll coat. This is hand sewn of black silk velvet, lined with red rayon satin. It has a sweeping swing cut, gathered at a high yoke. It has five petite glass buttons down the front, closes with snaps underneath. On each side in the front it has 6\" long by 3\" wide lapels, that look like a capelet, they are edged with white lace and lined in red satin. The sleeves are adorable, they are wide puffs with cut outs to revel the red lining inside, they have a half fold back cuff of black velvet with red lining. The back has two velvet petals with red embroidery at the yoke. There are also two in the front under one lapel, so I am guessing there were more in the front, these could be moved to each side of the front opening. The coat is in excellent antique condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears, there is some fraying on the raw edges.Measures; 9\" long from shoulder to hem, 11 1/2\" around under arms, shoulders 3 1/2\" across seams, sleeves 5\" long from shoulder seam, sweep at hem 32\".Shown here on a 14\" doll, the listing is for the coat only.I sell a variety of items of which I am not an expert on, please view all photos, they are the major part of the description.
