ANTIQUE CAPITOL BURNS & POLLACK PHONOGRAPH LAMP CIRCA EARLY 1900\'s WATCH VIDEO:
$3500.00

For sale a rare piece of phonographic history. A Burns & Pollack Phonograph Lamp circa early 1900\'s. At the time these were invented phonograph lamps were found in exclusive homes as electricity was scarce. The trumpeted copper base which serves as the speaker features brass mounts and brass claw feet. I do not know if the cloth linen shade with hanging tassels is original but it is in good shape but has a couple of frays. There are 2 electric light sockets. The lid lifts to reveal the electric driven disc turntable with the phono reproducer, brass tone arm, 3 needle bins and single interior light socket. Signed on an oval tag by Burns-Pollack Elec. Mfg. Co. Capitol”. Everything works and vintage records sound great when playing. A very rare nice piece measuring 29 in. high x 21 in. wide x 21 in. deep.
