Offered here is an antique meerschaum pipe with an intricate carving of a galloping horse. An early building can be seenin the backgroundplus the date of 1852. Pipe has the desirable hinged bronze or brass cover. Body of pipe is 4 1/4\" wide (11 cm), and 4 1/4\" high (when top lid is included). Comes with black cord & amber mouthpiece(needs a connector)Note that the bronze cover is in VG condition--hinge is tight, curved latch moves easily, one small dent near finial.Please look at the photos carefully, as they form part of my description.Pipe has good patina & surface, minor wear.
