Description...A superb antique Chinese jadeite snuff bottle carved to resemble a citron fruit also referred to as a Buddha\'s Hand due to the many fingers protruding from the bottom of the fruit and this snuff bottle was produced in China during the first half of the c1900s for the export market. The jadeite bottle contains apple green, lavender and white with the cap or top resembling a vine and leaf which is very delicate and still perfectly kept with a stopper and spoon along with the surfaces having a nice subtle sheen due to a good polishing process. The bottle is displayed on its original hardwood stand custom fitted to receive the bottom of the bottle. I will be listing more snuff bottles from a collection I recently bought with the next one being a quit large carved cinnabar table snuff bottle so keep watching my upcoming sales for more great Chinese and other Asian antiques and collectibles.
Condition....Snuff bottle is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks. losses or repairs and the stand is also in good condition with only minor age wear.
