ANTIQUE CIRCA 1880 JAPANESE MEIJI ERA WIRE WORK OVERLAY POTTERY BOWL WITH HANDLE. The wire overlay work is tight to the bowl with some very minor wear to the plating finish. The bowl has a darkcracklefinish to the glaze. I believe some discoloration from age to the light color inside the bowl...the outside is an off white with some discoloration. There is no makers mark on the bottom. Both handles are in very nice condition. Over all great condition with some minimal wear to the silver tone plate finish.Measures about 6 3/4 inches across the top. Stands about 3 inches tall (includes the handles layinf on the rim of the bowl) ... About 5 inches to the top of the handles.
