Sign Up ANTIQUE DECO OLD PAWN STERLING QUALITY KINGMAN NAVAJO TURQUOISE CORAL JACLA 20\"ANTIQUE DECO OLD PAWN STERLING GREAT QUALITY KINGMAN NAVAJO TURQUOISE & CORAL JACLA 20\" DBL STRAND JACLA 5.25\" DROP Offered here is a gorgeous antique Deco old pawn sterling top quality Kingman Navajo turquoise and coral Jacla 20\" long, with a double strand Jacla 5.25\" drop. The turquoise beads are graduated in size, and range from 4.5mm x 4.5mm to 5.5mm x 11mm. The cord to the double stranded Jacla is a twisted rope style design. Below the cord are four orange/red coral beads measuring approx. 8mm x 4.5mm. Please know, being natural stones, sizes may vary slightly. The turquoise beads below the coral beads are pretty stationary in size and measure approx. 6mm x 4mm. The bottom of the two drop strands have eight red, spiny, donut shaped, beads each. They measure approx. 8mm x 3mm. The necklace closes securely with a hook and eye design which is attached to two sterling silver cone shaped clasp ends.Cones are stamped; STERLING and have a rising sun engraved design.
The jacla necklace is an ancient style. The word “jacla” in the Navajo language means “ear string” and referred to the two loops of stone tied to the base of the necklace. The loops were worn as earrings during special occasions and ceremonies and tied to the necklacewhen not in use.
