ANTIQUE DRESS BOLD CIVIL WAR ERA 1860\'s PAISLEY HOUSE WRAPPER GOWN
A striking original Civil War era circa 1860\'s lady\'s Paisley with swirls of stylized paisley designs.
The front has a frontal opening with 14 fabric covered button closure. Mostly machine and hand sewn, long seams are machine done. A one piece gown with a wonderful printed cotton lining. Curved sleeves that are also lined.
A good true color of the paisley fabric are the three lower photos.
MEASUREMENTS: 36\" bust, and 52\" from shoulder to front hem, sleeve length 19\", across back of shoulder 16\", circumference of hem 153\".
In as found condition, with SLIGHT stains and fraying to the armscyes, inner lining of bodice is good condition, 1 small rip in bust area, and 4 rips as shown in photo, the largest rip has been photographed. Hem edges has no wear, however has one water stain, as shown in last photo, does not show through to front. One button has lost its metal backing. No fading to material. Lace collar is stained.
