Description

This listing is for an antique, early 19th century, 2 color all 18k gold watch fob and pocket watch key. The key measures 2 1/2 inches or 65 mm long and the hand is 1 1/2 inches or 37 mm. There are no hallmarks but it has all been tested and is all 18k solid gold. The key weighs 9.9 pennyweights or 15.3 grams.

The whole is very ornate. The hand holding the key is cuffed and this cuff is in 2 color gold yellow and green gold. The key has acanthus leaf and shell decoration on the head and a roundel on the bit that goes into the lock. All in yellow gold with green gold highlights.

One pushes the head of the key forward while your holding the fob and the pocket watch key emerges from the front of the key. The condition is immaculate.
