SUMNER ARMORIAL FAMILY CREST, ARMOUR BREAST PLATE TREE

Description:

An original early 19th Century red wax seal bearing an armorial crest of a tree growing from the breast plate of a suit of armour, being the crest of the Sumner Family according to the label inside. The seal is contained within its original turned rosewood case.

Condition:

In good antique condition, with some minor cracking to the wax, and a chip to the edge of the piece, not affecting the seal itself. Please see the images provided which complement this description.
