DESCRIPTION: Up for sale is a beautiful Early British School Original Framed Oil on Canvas Horse Study Painting in a highly period hand carved frame. Depicts an early farm scene with a horse eating hay outside a early homestead. Excellent subject matter by a masterful artist. It comes in an original period gold painted frame that is 2\" deep with much detail as shown in the photos. It appears to be unsigned and probably dates back to the mid to late 19th century, probably circa 1870\'s-1890\'s. Condition: Painting is in very good condition with some minor flaws as follows. It has some minor areas of paint loss around the very edges where it touches frame, frame shows some wear and some loss, see photos and close ups for detail. Please see photos and closeups to make your offer accordingly. Overall, an excellent condition painting for the age and could be hung and displayed as is as I would say its its in very good condition. A great painting with rare highly collectible subject matter of horses!Size is medium with frame at approximately 25\" tall x 17\" x 2\" deep in frame.
