Description: - This is aFineEdwardian amethyst and pearl gold festoon necklace, circa 1905.Thecentral pendant is composed of a circular blister pearl, leading to afine trace chain with graduated amethysts, and bisected by pearl highlights. As was typical for the period, thedrop necklaceis unhallmarked, and has been tested and confirmed to be 9ct gold minimum finess.

Condition: - The necklace is in good antique condition, in keeping with general wear. The necklace chain has the replacment clasp. The pearls are well matched in terms of colour. The amethyst stones are well matched, displaying a lovely purple colour. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
