Click to View Image Album Being saleed is a really fantastic pair of Antique Victorian Tall Black Leather Boots that size out to be close to a US 7 1/2 B, maybe a US 8 A. The numbers inside the shafts read 406 N4660 that may yield size information with the name RUBINS” embossed in gold in the top. The leather uppers are extremely soft and supple with nice thickness to it. These are free of nicks, scratches or gouges. The left boot shows signs of being mended around the rear where the leather sock meets the shoe. Very nice punch work design around the shoe line.

The inside cotton twill lining is very clean, but shows some small vertical rips in it (right boot) and there is definitely tearing and signs of wear around the heels of both boots. The leather insoles are very clean and both boots have their complete felt/wool heel pads. The leather banding around the tops is complete showing only minor wear. The leather eyelet banding is like new and thick with 19 pairs of eyelets to lace up. The leather tongues are complete and have full cloth backing on them.

The bottom leather soles and heels are in good used shape with plenty of wear left in them. These are a very wearable pair of boots and would make a nice addition to any wardrobe!
