Offered for your consideration today is this wonderful antique French Breton/Brittany/Quimper carved wood miniature doll armoire. As you can see, this example features two hinged doors which open to reveal fitted shelves (there is an interior hook to secure the door on the left in place). As you can also, this miniature cabinet is beautifully decorated on the top as well as both sides. This wooden armoire measures approximately 13 3/4\" high by 9 3/4\" wide by 5\" deep. I would say that the piece is in overall good condition for its age, with signs of age and use to be expected. That said, I would point out that there is a small chip on the top left side (as shown) as well as a hairline crack in the lower left cabinet (which does not effect the integrity of the piece). Finally, as you can see, the back panel is sagging a bit in the lower right hand corner as you can see in the photo of the back of the piece. I point all this out in the interest of full disclosure, but do not feel that the overall aesthetic of this charming armoire is impacted by these issues. The bottom line is that this is a beautiful French antique miniature doll armoire that would look lovely in your home. Thanks for looking.
