ITEM DESCRIPTION

Up for your consideration is a ANTIQUE FRENCH BRONZE SCULPTURE of LION, HAND ETCHED/SIGNED \"GABON?\" and dated 1874. It is made of solid bronze and quite heavy with exquisite detailing. It isalso hand-signed French. It does not have a foundry mark, and seems to be a singular piece, rather than a casting of multiple pieces.

The piece measures 12.5\" long, and is about 7\" high. It is in excellent condition, free of flaws, and weighs about 18 lbs. It is of museum quality, and a great piece of antique French sculpture by a master artist.
