Antique French Candle Bicycle antique French candle-power metal bicycle light made by Luxor

It is c1900, complete with all original parts in good working order

It was painted silver many decades ago and has heavy paint loss

The stem has no paint, showing the very worn original nickle-plate

It is 9.5\" high x 6\" wide x 3.2\" front diameter (24 x 15.2 x 8 cm)

It\'s complete with its inner candle spring, back bracket and screw

(these old candle lights are often missing these original parts)

The door has a tight and secure closing catch and strong hinge

The front glass has a small break and is held by metal clips inside

(it\'s replacement perspex glass that has small edge scratches)

There are three red glass lenses, on either side and on the back

One side lens is broken and has been covered up on the inside

(this was presumably done to hold the broken glass in place)

The stem unscrewsfrom the top andhas a platform-top spring

(the candle sits on the platform and is pushed up as it burns)

The mounting bracket has its original (rusty) screw and nuts

The name of the French maker Luxor is on top of the chimney

This rare old lamp can be kept just as it is or cleaned /re-painted
