Presented here is a beautiful antique French gilt metal powder box, appears to be made of brass. Lovely raised castings surround the sides of the box. A double wreath frames the portrait on the lid. The portrait is a beautiful woman on celluloid, some small minor cracks on the celluloid but overall good. The inside contains the original glass insert. Excellent antique condition, some discoloration and scratcheson the bottom and inside of the lid. Measures 4 1/2\" across, 1 5/8\" deep, heavy weight nearly 1 pound and 8.5 oz alone.I sell a variety of items of which I am not an expert on, please view all photos, they are the major part of the description.
